Hi, stumbled upon this forum after very recently having my eyes blown wide open in complete shock and disbelief about what is wrong with me and must admit I feel a lot happier knowing that I'm not alone!

Going through the list of hypothyroid symptoms on STTM website I've got pretty close to every symptom going (except the ones for women lol) and from further reading am quite a way in to adrenal fatigue.

Everything is so new to me I'm having to read things very slowly until my Levothyroxine (200mcg per day) kicks back in as I've been naughty and not taken it for a while)

I'm having severe problems getting to sleep at night and when I do get to sleep I can easily sleep for more than 12 hours (half slept for over 14 a few times) and even then getting up and waking up seem to take forever not leaving much left of my day so I'm feeling a bit more down as I feel completely unemployable at the moment.

Can't even get a horrid door-to-door job as I can't walk very far due to severe plantar fasciitis in both feet.

I'm skilled in IT (PC maintenance/web design) so if I can help give something back in that area I won't feel so bad for getting all the help I can to get my life back.

Thank-you for reading 🙂

Hello and welcome to Healthypages. Sorry to learn of your difficulties, and if it would help, your post can be moved to Metabolic Disorders - please just ask - where hopefully you'll receive support and encouragement from our members with knowledge and experience of this condition.

Yes please, that would be great if you could do that for me, save copy & pasting most of it 🙂

I've moved the thread over for you, and added to the title to indicate the content, but if you want further changes to that, it's not a problem.

Regarding copy/pasting of text, for future reference may I also just mention that, although it's fine to use the Quote button as I have done here just to illustrate its use, duplicate posts of the same text aren't permitted, as per the forum guidelines here:

I also googled STTM and from the results list it would seem you were referring to the Stop The Thyroid Madness website. Is that right? If so, I'll post the link, or you can.

Best wishes,

Holistic
