Hi all,
Hope you're well.
I am 22 and ever since I can remember (definately 5 years) I have had a small hard lump on one of my testicles.
I know I am very stupid for not going to a doctor but I have just been very embarassed even thinking about doing it...which is no excuse, I know!
Also the lump, while very obvious once I have located it, is very hard to find (I have been worried the doctor would not be able to find it, which would not be a fun situation!)
Is there any chance that this lump is completely safe?
Many thanks in advance
go and see your GP!!!

We are not qualified on this forum to give a diagnosis. You know you should go and see a doctor and get it sorted.
I remember what it was like at your age and the embaressment about having to see the Dr about such things.
Why not give NHS direct a call first and talk it through with them annonymously, their number can be found here:
Myarka.
There is always a chance it is safe, I know a couple of instances where these can be safe lumps and nothing to worry about, but to be sure, as suggested, see your GP, a few minutes with the GP and you should know what you are dealing with, if it's something, you can get it treated, if it's nothing you can stop worrying.
We all go through these things, us women have to go for smears every three years, not our favourite sport, but hey, got to be done and it is a good preventative measure against nasties which may crop up..
Your health is important.. we can't diagnose here so ask someone who can..
