Hi hopefully this makes sense 😮

I've noticed I've had pain when right before ejaculating and during which seems to be from the right testicle 😮 I've also felt a lump Which is tender to touch on my right testicle I also what I can describe as hardish veins? (Not visible)

I've had this pain for around 3 weeks and its starting to worry me a lot.

I've not masterbated for over a week thinking it would sort its self out but the pains still there:o

I'm terrified about going to the doctor

Any idea what this could be?

They've seen you once already so no more embarrassment. To them, it's like showing them a finger or nose. They've probably seen more scrotums than you've had hot dinners.

Lol true I keep telling myself that wouldn't be so bad if things stayed the normal size!! I can't help but become a nervous wreck

ok... have you had any pain in your lower back at the side(s)? around the kidney area?

Not that we can diagnose... only doctors can do that, but where you're indicating pain is quite common if a kidney stone gets stuck in your tubes on the way to the bladder, or also where the appendix is (are you a fan of spicy food?)

I've had pain in my lower right side of my back for at least 6 months i get It on & off mainly after sleeping but I've got a little pain now at first it was my mattress so I changed to a firm one then i thought id hurt it deadlifting so stopped but still waking up with a little back ache.

I like spicy food tend to make chilli for work 4 nights a week.

Make sure you mention all these locations of pain to your doctor. They're likely nothing (as you say, you could have hurt yourself lifting weights) but always best to give the doctor the full picture and get things checked.

Spicy food can irritate the guts/bowel, so perhaps try spending a week or so eating non-spicy foods and see if that makes a difference.

When my OH had ultrasound, it was very quick and the machinery was managed by a male radiologist. He had been given a gown to put on in a changing room, and was then taken into the scanner. He was made comfortable (!) on the treatment couch, and then the room was darkened, so the radiologist could see the screen clearly. He was asked to open the gown so that the doctor could apply 'goo' (gel !) to his balls and the area over the pubic bone - it was very cold initially, but soon warmed up. The scan took 3 or 4 minutes, he said it didn't hurt, and was not really aware of the pressure that the radiologist applied as he moved the scanner round the scrotum and over the pubis. After the scan was finished, he was given a bunch of tissue to remove the 'goo', and told to go back to the changing room.

I have had many ultrasound procedures over the years, having had breast cancer, and it is always quick and painless - I much prefer this form of scan compared to mammograms.

If you are concerned about your modesty during the procedure - tell them.

They've seen it all before. You do get a piece of kitchen towel to hold "yourself" but it's still awkward. The way I see it, death is more awkward.

It only takes a couple of minutes and is completely painless (just feels a little warm).
Either you'll be given a gown to wear or, depending on the hospital, you'll just be asked to pull your trousers and pants down etc. while you're lying on a couch. They understand it can be a little embarrassing, and of course there'll be a curtain around so it's just you and the radiologist, but they'll be professional about it, and it's nothing they haven't seen before. (Really, you're just another body to be processed through the system!).

So, yes, you'll be pretty much covered up, and only have to 'provide access' at the time they're doing the scan. As Jabba says, just tell them you're worries and they'll talk to you about it.

😉

Still no idea on the cause of the pain although its been alot better for the last month no pain before ejaculation anymore.I still got pain to the top right of my penis when i press down which feels very uncomfortable but no lumps to suggest a hernia

Woohoo! finally!

So, that wasn't so hard after all.

Now you're in a position where you can tell others that there's nothing to worry about and it's easier to go get it checked out than to spend months on end worrying about it. 😉
