Hi
A while ago I visited my GP with a very painful nipple and a type of hardening underneath . I was referred to a breast clinic at the local hospital. The specialist's opinion was that I had Mastitis and nothing to worry about . Now it has flared up again on the other breast, can feel the hardening and is extremely painful .
I can think of what may be the cause as I take Beta blockers and Tamsulosin for an enlarged Prostate.
Should I go back to my GP or put up with it? The only worry is that is breast cancer, I was told it isn't, if so I can put up with it.

Kind regards
Graham.

Graham, it's best to consult your GP or urologist again, for this.you will get insight you are looking for. I personally feel, this is a medical beyond the scope of most of us here on this forum.
Hope it's all benign

Agree with Jnani - you must go to your GP. Once reassured, you could then look at methods of treating the condition.

I had it several times when my children were babies - I tried everything, including cabbage leaves tucked in my bra - which, weirdly, actually helped - but may be problematic for you to attempt!
