Hi im a 20 year old male, and I seem to be having really bad problems with keeping myself engaged. When at work, I seem to be the worst and at random points experience big energy loss problems, where I feel tired or just not focused at all.

I go to bed early and get good sleep, I am quite skinny for my age, 9.5 stone and 185.4cm tall.
What can I do to resolve this problem? Could it be associated with diet? Some times it almost feels like I am diabetic as I experience very bad energy problems where I just loose all concentration and sometimes shake (very rarely) Diabetes does not run in the family and it has never been picked up in recent blood tests, but could there be something else?

Sorry to hear about your energy problem. I think the first step is to get your bloods checked via your GP. At least then you will know if there is any physiological reason.

Also see if your GP offers appointments with a nutrionalist, once you get your blood test results.

Check the food you eat. White bread is notorious for making you feel tired at work. I like to drop white bread rolls round to my parents when I visit because I know they'll make my sister's sandwiches for the next week and she always falls asleep at her desk after eating them. 😀 (When she wakes up, she usually sends me a thank you email.)

Hi RT,

Mostly this comes down to diet. You need a steady flow of carb's to keep you going. Too much refined sugar, caffiene, fags, and poor oxygen levels steal energy fast!

Chinese Tui Na Massage will wake you up!:027:

I'm a bit biased as a practitioner, but i go every 4 weeks for some body rocking and rolling! its the best.

When a 52 year old leaves the treatment room practically skipping like a teenager.... you know its good!!

Where are you based , i might be able to recommend someone?

I do believe that diet is very important. That was my perception because balanced diet really work for me.

So buddy, you should monitor the food you eat for it was a big thing to consider. Especially those foods that boost our energy!

Good luck!
