Over the past couple of days my left ankle has become quite uncomfortable and the only thing that seems to relieve the feeling is to click the joint. It prevented me from getting to sleep last night as I just could not get comfortable and its been distracting me the whole day. Its not painful, it just has an odd feeling like pressure or an air bubble and I am flexing my ankle joint continuously to try to relieve the feeling.
Any ideas what it could be?
I'm loathed to go to the GP with it because it seems so trivial but I guess if it continues to be uncomfortable I will have to give in and go. May try some anti-inflammatory gel this evening see if that helps and a salt bath.

This is very common. Reasons are different. Whole leg must be checked Hip and spine alignment.
Especially your foot.
If can be just simple foot posture.
Visit dr (better podiatrist) and he definitely can help
