Hi, i have had this problem for about a 18 months now, when i am walking my left hip on the front to inside feels like it wants to, how can i say clunk back into place and i have to sit down because of the pain after the clunk.
when i get into bed and want to lift my left leg into bed my hip feels like its comeing out of joint, and if i raise my left leg lying down it gets to about 8 - 10 inches high and i am in a lot of pain and have to stand up to " clunk it back " and theirs a lot of pain when it does.
RE: Painfull clunking hip
Hi Spectra - ouch!
You may have been born with a slight hip deformity or some acquire one as they are growing.
Another suspect is a problem with one of your scaroiliac joints - these are the 2 large weight bearing joints in your pelvis that often get overlooked. Typically a side impact trauma can through one of these out of whack.
Suggest you see an osteopath and get it properly assessed & hopefully treated.
Good luck - Andrew.
