Hi all

I think I'm probably going to see my GP about this but I thought I would ask if anyone recognises these symptoms: for several months now (at least since last October) I have been aware of an uncomfortable feeling in my left armpit. You know what it feels like if your clothes are too tight under your arm? Well, it feels like that - but my clothes are loose. I keep wanting to pull my sleeves away from my armpit. It's not tender, not painful but it's a discomfort. I used to be aware of it only when I was relaxing on the sofa in the evening but recently I know it's there pretty much all the time (like now for instance.) I can't feel any lumps or swellings or tenderness but it bothers me. Any ideas?

With love

Hi Liam,

Sunanda will not be able to respond as she, unfortunately, passed away a couple of years back.
I don't recall if she ever did find the cause of that pain, though she did have other issues related to her breathing and chest that were, ultimately, what took her from us, so it may have been related.

I'm ever so sorry to hear that news.

Though this has made me worried! I have gone doctors and he cannot see or feel anything to be suspicious of.. however has referred me to get a scan.

May i ask... What was the cause of death?

I do not believe anyone here is qualified to offer a diagnosis. If you are experiencing pain or discomfort then it must be fully investigated by your doctor. You say you have been referred for a scan. If the scan shows nothing, then perhaps you could seek advice from a complementary health practitioner at that time.
