I'm a brand new member. I hope this is in the right forum. If not, I apologise and ask a moderator to move it.

I wanted to share how my son's low blood pressure was healed, in case it will help someone.

My son (13) was suffering from very low blood pressure. He would lie on the sofa all day - as soon as he got up, his head turned. He was starting to miss out on school. The normal things one gets from the chemists would work for a couple of hours, and then the blood pressure would get low again. I didn't want to drag him off to a general practitioner for tests and all sorts of chemical drugs.

So I had a brainwave and took him to my digipuncturist, who is also a specialist in Chinese Medicine. After examining my son, he asked him if he had fallen on his hand about a month before. My son said "Yes, I feel from my skate-board badly. Is my hand not healed?" "Oh yes, the hand is completely healed, but when you fell, you tried to stop your fall and when you did this, you displaced a vertrebrae. And day by day, all your energy, or your "chi" as we call it, has slowly been blocked. It cannot circulate anymore. No wonder you are feeling so weak". He did some work on my son's back, replaced the vetrebrae and did some other energetic work on him.

And since then (this has been about three months now), my son has been full of beans and back to his usual energetic self.

I just wanted to share this so as we do not forget that sometimes our ailments come from things that a "normal" doctor would never ever guess at. A visit to an osteopath or a digipuncturist or whatever can sometimes do the trick.

Thank you for listening. 🙂

Hi Diana,

This is interesting, and it's great he's doing so well 🙂

I don't know if we have them in this country; may I ask, what is a digipuncturist?

Suzanne: Digipuncture is obviously not an English word - my mistake. I thought it would be the same word in French than in English. Digipuncture is acupuncture using fingers instead of needles. Would you know the term in English? I tried to figure it out by googling, but all I got were French web-sites.

Good to hear your son is healthy again.

I can imagine the disk would block the governing vessel (Du Mai). Bit like tying rope round your thigh for a long time...

Hello and welcome to HP 😀

Thanks for your post - it was very interesting. Edgar Cayce was a firm believer in the power of physical (usually osteopathic) adjustments to cure ailments which seem completely unrelated to the skeletal system. In the book Encyclopaedia of Healing it specifies which vertebrae should be manipulated for which dis-ease. Fascinating stuff!

Sweetheart x

(((LIGHTBULB)))
THANK YOU, DIANA!

(this is aka 13thFaeChylde, by the way) 😉

My husband has been in excruciating pain for months now, allegedly from a horseback fall he took earlier this year. At first we thought it was rotator cuff injury, then an orthopedic doctor said it was degenerated disks in his back.

The pain meds aren't working and he uses his shoulders and back with every step he takes as he is a one-legged and uses crutches.

I think I need to look for an accupressure agent in my area.

Sweetheart: Thank you for the hint about the Encylopaedia of Healing. I have never heard of it. I will try and get more information about this.

RainStarr: I know who you are. 😉 I am aware of your husband's problems and I definitely think he should could benefit from some acupressure. "Degenerated disks" sounds like a very wide diagnostic to me.

An osteopath could also be visited for a more precise diagnosis.

Then of course... there is the mental side to it. As ailments usually begin in the mind, there is work to be done there as well. If the pain is in the upper region, or the lower region of the back, the mental problems are not the same. Bach Flower Remedies could help him re-align his mental state of mind so that his body is available and ready for any other healing or manipulations that need to be made.

FYI Louise Hay's Heal Your Body has an interesting chart that links each vertebrae with a different illness...
