Hello all, I am a new member and wonder if someone can shed some light on my situation. I have on my right side of my head - right temple - and mostly through all my face a strange tingling feeling. At times it feels like my face tightens up. It feels very prickly. I am at a wits end. It is driving me crazy. I have gone to several head doctors - have had many blood tests, have had an Ultra Sound, as well as a MRI. They don't seem to find anything, but meanwhile this problem is very debilatating (sp). This is depressing me something awful. The Ultra Sound was to find out how the blood was flowing, and that was fine. I certainly will appreciate hearing from anyone who may have experienced this before. Thank you so much.
have you thought about muscular tightness, particularly a muscle called sternocliedomastoid, it would normally limit range of movement when turning your head to the side. responsible for headaches and referred pain/ tingling,

Hi EVV
I have had what seems to be the same type of thing that you are experiencing. The difference for me is that it only seems to affect the right side of my face and not the whole face... but in the past week or so I have felt a similar feeling on the back of my right shoulder as well. It seems to be as you say.. a prickly feeling. Just wondering if you have come across anything to explain this 😀
