I visited a nail bar with my daughter a few days ago.I had not been to one before and found it it quite facinating to watch how they applied the nails and filed and painted them etc.The fumes were overpowering and I endedup with a violent Headache.I had to leave the shop on numerous occasions.Young children were playing in the shop while their mums nails were being done.It took over an hour to complete the nails. The nail technichans wore masks while filing and painting the nails but the customers were left to breath it in.When my daughter got home she also complained of aheadache.I know she will go back and thinks I am making a fuss about nothing but something doesnt seem right to me.I thought there were strict health and safety measures that needed to be adhered to when dealing with the public.Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I have mild asthma and cannot go anywhere near them or i can't breathe and my asthma's not even that bad - they're the only thing that affect me. Some places aren't so bad depending on which type they use and if they have extractor fans in the tables
