just had some botox today, (in between eyebrows). i suffer from lots of headaches and migraines and the doctor said it works well for tension headaches and migraines. i will let you fellow sufferers know how i get on in a few weeks as it can take up to 10 days to work...
felt a bit sick afterwards but i think that was from the stress of having it done! little bit painful but not too bad. it can apparently bring on headaches but if it helps in the long term its worth it. i have tried so many other things thought it might be worth a go.
do let us know how you get on...i'd be curious to see if it works, hope it works for you 🙂

I get crashing migraines, and I'm interested too in seeing if this botox helps you. If it does, I'm offski to have some.
update then
i have had it done twice now and to be honest i wasnt convinced. cosmetically the first one froze my brow more but there was still movement. i told the dr this on the second visit (a different doctor) who said i must have quite strong muscles (maybe because of the headaches although she didnt say that it is me summising) in my brow and she said she would use more but there was still lots of frowning going on and she wanted me to pay more and have my whole brow done! so that would have been nearly £400. i dont think so.
as far as the headaches go i dont really think it made a difference. i still got the pain in the botoxed areas. i wouldnt say dont try it as it may work for others, just didnt seem to work for me.:(
oh and btw i just had an mri scan on my neck to find out if there was anything wrong as its a nightmare. they found dehyrated discs and lots of jaw tension. so that is probably the root of my headaches so maybe thats why it didnt work for me. my osteopath said i should try botox in my jaw but i cant keep paying out all this money as i paid for the mri privately as well.
its so depressing spending so much money on treating your ailments instead of spending your money for pleasure, as anyone who seeks alternative treatments instead of their GP will know. i reckon i have spend around 4 grand in the past 10 years on all sorts of treatments on a regular basis. i could have had a lovely holiday for that!!!
