This is a general query on waking up feeling tired in the mornings. Sometimes I feel as if I've had 2 hours sleep. I go to bed around 10:30ish on average & wake up a reasonable time.
I don't drink / take drugs.
I've heard that it could be down to diet - too much sugar or being drained by the spirit world during the night.
Any possible solutions welcome. I think I've had this for a long time over the years.

First I would suggest a visit to your gp and a blood test to rule out deficiencies and check for other possible causes. Once that has been ruled out then it may be time to look at other causes.

I can't think of a good reason that the 'spirit world' would randomly choose to drain you. Has this idea been suggested to you? Did whoever suggested it give a reason?

If you constantly wake up in the morning exhausted, it could be the result of poor quality sleep, a bad diet and high stress level. The best way to avoid this is to stop thinking about lots of things such as your work, evaluate your daytime concerns and worries and focus more on the foods you eat.

I suggest you see your GP to rule out any illness or anything like sleep apnoea. I've been feeling the same recently and I'm finally giving in an seeing the Dr this week to just get checked over...I'm expecting to have to have a blood test which will be fun..not. I know I'm overweight and my husband reports that I snore so sleep apnoea is probably a contributing factor in my situation.

I hope you feel better soon. x

Too much stress can cause what you feel every time you wake up. Consult with your doctor about that

Spiritual causes are possible... entity attachments or burnt out chakras. Psychic attack or curses. Even latent astral travel. Do you have vivid dreams? I know of people that are very tired cos they spend most of the night astral travelling instead of sleeping.

Does any of that resonate with you?

Those are possible, but soul loss is far more common (and generally easier to sort out).

Negative entities leeching energy from people is more common than you would think. And with the rise in kundalini activity so are burnt out chakras. Not that hard to fix if you work with kundalini energies though.

Have you seen soul loss severe enough to cause her symptoms? I would think it would be an extreme case if that were the cause.

Oh yes I do have very vivid dreams as of late and some quite scary ones.
I definitely think I have visited astral realms several times maybe to do rescue work. One was a very dark, dismal, grey, depressing place full of dispairing, wretched & suicidal souls. I also bumped into some chanting monks along the way trying to sage the area to cleanse it.
I've heard about soul loss and entity attachment which I find quite scary.
I've noticed that when I look at people especially famous people sometimes their eyes look dead. I can imagine that these are people suffering soul loss ???
I also seem to wake up around 4am and had difficulty sleeping which I've heard is the time that the mind is most open to higher spiritual activity.
Curses - now that sounds scary !
Thanks guys for your insights

When you say that you visit astral realms to do rescue work, what exactly do you mean? Different belief systems use different terminology and ‘astral’ and ‘rescue work’ are not shamanic terms. If you mean psychopomping – that is helping the dead to get to where they should be – have you been well trained in this? I have known several people who have drifted into doing such work and who have lost soul as a result.

Curses are less common than soul loss, although becoming more common in the UK.

I have a friend who says she clears lost souls in her sleep almost every night..I will be honest I am not sure whether I believe her. I don't think she is lying.....I am just not sure is interpreting what is happening correctly.....Oh the challenging mind of the sceptic.....

Ahhh I only guessed I was doing rescue work because of the nature of the dream and I think I remember being with someone - maybe a spirit guide. It was like I was being shown something. I wondered what I was doing there but thought it could be for rescue.
The soul loss thing is interesting. My soul has taken some traumas in my lifetime but I am very sensitive so I probably notice it more. I reckon I am mostly healed now though so not sure where I score with soul loss.
Didn't realise it was still possible to curse people - sounds very gypsyish to me 🙂

Some cultures do it. Some don't. On the whole, we don't in Northern Europe but, as people move around the world more, we get more exposed to it.
I've even had people phone me asking me to curse their enemies for them. In some parts of Africa, particularly central Africa, this is an accepted part of the shaman's job.

Wow. Not sure if I 100% believe you can harm another by sending them bad energy ? But I'm fascinated by the whole concept of shamanism and soul retrieval.
How can people tell if they are cursed? I personally wouldn't curse someone - I would rather protect myself from their bad energy so it doesn't hurt me.

I said nothing about "bad energy". energy is neither good nor bad.

These things - curses, intrusions, attachments, soul-loss etc - are generally diagnosed by the shaman's helping spirits. They and the shaman then work together to deal with the problem. You don't necessarily know what is wrong with you but you know something is, so you go to a shaman.

No, I wouldn't curse anyone either. But as long as there are some people who would, as a shamanic worker, I need to know how to deal with it.

Ahhhhhhhh makes sense. I'm reading a book that talks about people sending entities and curses to people unconsiously as well as consciously.
Seems like positive thought forms and energy vibrations are the best way to go to combat all of it- should it occur.

I think you'd get a different understanding reading about shamanism.

I have been told if you wake up tired it can be the spirit world draining you.
As what she wrote above this is some of the causes I've also heard for tiredness - entity attachments and spirits latching on draining your energy possibly connected to past lives??
Also astral travel. I've come across all these before.
Obviously doctors claim it's just depression, poor sleep patterns, diet, sleep paralysis etc rather than the astral reasons.
