RE: please help

Hi Melanie,
assuming you have no medical condition that prevents you from doing so, I would say get out of the house more start exercising even if it means walking to and from the local shop, you will start to feel energised when you start exercising.

It is common for those who are not actually doing much to feel as you do, but I would say in advance that you should discuss it with your GP, tell how you feel and what you want to do about it.

I was in your situation some years ago, and I decided to get up off my &*%$ and do something about it. after over 15 years of feeling sorry for myself with a disability, I actually started exercising ,studied my condition and now help others like myself.
Best of luck

Hi Melanie,
Your condition, the lethargy, etc, can be occasionally due to simple physiological / medical conditions. For example thyroid imbalance or vitamin/mineral deficiency can often cause these symptoms. A visit to your GP could be a good idea to have a detailed check-up.

If there is no underlying reason to your constant tiredness, then a course of aromatherapy and/or reflexology treatments could make a real difference to your energy levels.

Good luck and some multivitamins :),
Andre

RE: please help

Could be a question of not how much you are eating, but what you are eating.

RE: please help

Suggest gettingyourself down to your GP's, so they check for the usual suspects, incl;-

  • Diabetes
  • Underactive Thyroid
  • Coeliac Disease (less likely if over weight - sorry), etc.

I'm not suggesting they'll resolve the problem, but useful information for a starting point.

If nothing abnormal shows up, then there may be suggestions of Depression, ME/CFS or references to weight, etc.

Have you checked the Thread atop this Forum?

Jason may have a point in

Could be a question of not how much you are eating, but what you are eating.

although I'm probably thinking about this from a different angle, but you'll have figured that if you've laready read the above Thread via the link.

Andrew.
