I wonder if anyone could shed some light on this for me. I am an energy healer and have done alot of in depth work on myself (and still doing !) but periodically i have intense pain all over my body in the tissue, nerves (so going up and down stairs is very painful) joints etc. Nothing except painkillers seems to help and even those don't sometimes besides which I really don't like using chemicals. This current episode seems to have been kicked off ten days ago with a very strong reflexology session followed about 6 hours later with a stomach upset. Since then my digestion has been worse, IBS flared up and in addition the worst attck of what seems to be fibromyalgia, that i have ever had.
Any ideas anyone?[:@]

I always recommend UK spiritual healer Andrew McKellar. The only condition he doesn't agree to treat is mental illness.

His absent healing service is 100% free. You might want to give him a try. He's at

Hope you'll see an improvement very soon.

On a personal note, how extraordinary that you have chosen to call yourself voiceworks. My husband is in broadcasting and that's the name of his voiceover, radio and TV professionals' company launched in 1998.

No coincidence I'm sure! Isn't spirituality great!

Hi Flick

I'm so sorry you are in such a bad way. I'm a fibro' sufferer too, so can sympathise.

I would treat fibro very gently, myself, same as for M.E. and build up according to the patients response. I know that my reflexes can be very tender and have been treated appropriately by my colleagues.

I have only ever benefitted from reflex' but I know it can sometimes cause a 'healing crises' when it can get worse before improving. But pressure should be light for your condition.

I use acupressure a lot now on the 'hot spots' to really good effect.
Press your painful areas gently with sustained pressure and you may find the pain alleviated after a while.

Where do you live?

hugs

RE: pain: fibromyalgia

Hi Jan
thanks for that. Have had a few problems logging in but all sorted now i hope.

I live in Cambridge. I think this pain , and possibly other cases of Fibrom may well be as a result of constricting to hold in psychological pain over the years. It certainly seems to fit and make sense with the in depth psycho spiritual work i am doing.

I think I will have simple aromatherapy massage for the moment to simply get the physical support i need as i work through the rest of this psycho stuff!

Thanks for your advice 🙂

I can not emphasise enough that - If you are doing healing work with others, the you need to be doing regular (daily) meditaion/healing work on yourself & on occassions have healing from others.

Energy should only flow one way & that is thru us & out to the person having the 'healing'.

If we're a bit under par, then yes it can help us make the effort to clear oursleves, so we are the better for it, but sometimes it can be a case of us taking on board the 'stuff' of the person having the healing.

Yes they will still feel better for the 'healing' as you've temporarily taken away their stuff, but the underlying cause has not been addressed. And there is the issue of having to deal with stuff that wasn't yours in the first place, so you'll have little idea of how to undo it. So neither is helped in thelong run.

This happens to many healers that have been ill advised, innappropriately trained or just don't keep up with their own personal practices.

Namaste - And.
