hello i am a new member

hi everyone,

i have just found this very interesting and helpful site and forum.

i was diagnosed with cfs in march this year. prior to that i was a very active and busy bee:):)
i qualified as a nurse in april 2005 and have since been very busy as i started a degree in 2006, i know i am a gluten for punishment...or was. i have since had time to reevaluate my life and have discovered things that i am going to change when i am better.

i am in the house the majority of the time due to the many symptoms of cfs but remain positive and optimistic or a brighter future.

i was diagnosed, eventually, with cfs following a viral infection in march. silly me started a new job in april and struggled and struggled until the inevitable happened...yes i was absolutely rock bottom energy wise and in so much pain along with the lightheadedness and brain fog, wow.

i was prescribed an anti sickness tablet when i had my virus and sometimes wonder if that has had anything to do with my symptoms? any input on that would be welcome. just a thought as noone seems to be able to give me any answers.

also i am having difficulty being referred to services for cfs as i am out of area? has anyone accessed services and if so are they beneficial. i ask because if i do get referred the travel will be long and tiring and i am concerned about the effects it will have on me as i easily tire on the best of days.

it is lovely to meet you all and i look forward to participating in the forum, apologies in advance if i have periods of absence..you will all know why:)
