Since I last posted about CF, I have come across some very useful info for anyone that suffers from Chronic Fatigue - which I have for some 25 years.
I bought the book - 'From Fatigued to Fantastic' by Dr Jacob Tietelbaum. In the book, he says that many CF sufferers started the illness following a viral infection; which included myself. THis infection damaged the hypothalamus - deep in the brain, and also the related hormone system including the adrenal glands. His advice includes treatment with DHEA and hydrocortisone - both made in the adrenal glands. DHEA is pretty easy and cheap to get hold of, but hydrocortisone (Cortisol) can only be obtained on prescription in the UK - BUT, you can get it from In-House Pharmacy on the internet. I have only just started to take these meds, but I can definitley state that I am starting to feel better than I have for some years - but it is early days yet.
I therefore strongly recommend that if you are suffering from Chronic Fatigue, and that your illness commenced with a virus, then get a copy of that book and read it for yourself

Dr tietelbaum is good but DR AMY YASKO is a GENIUS.

I recommend researching her, the forums and odering tests through her site; especially the GENETICS.

I know all the doctors, spoke to many and she is THE BEST although DR Cheney is doing some great work.
