As well as you claiming DLA, if your husband is on a fairly low income he may be able to claim Working Tax Credit, if he is over 25.

Hiya i get incapacity and DLA if you apply for DLA its not means tested so it doesnt matter if you husband works.The best thing to do is contact CAB and they will send someone out to help you fill in the form or social services may be able to do the same thing.

Its just so stressful trying to do it yourself also they are looking for spercific answers which these people are used to.

As somebody else mentioned you may be entitled to income support...

You may like to also try a forum called foggyfriends as well as this one as its for people with M.E CFS FM and friends and carers etc.

You will not get Income Support if your husband works more than 24 hours per week. If he's over 25 and works 30 hours or more he should claim Working Tax Credit

Im so sorry you are suffering from this awful condition, I suffer with arthritus and have applied for DLA and I found that Welfare Rights people are were really helpful with the forms, guidence and with the appeal, stil waiting to hear about my claim, I really would recomend them, I found the girl I spoke to at CAB was almost a dopey as me...must of been new, so its worth speaking to them.
