Hello everyone! I have been sick for about six months now. At first I had iron-deficiency anemia from an acid reflux medicine, but they fixed that in December and I keep getting sicker. I'm always tired. I get dizzy and have headaches. I feel depressed and can't concentrate. I'm having problems with coordination on bad days. I run out of breathe alot and feel like there is a bar across the top of my chest. My GI doctor and hematologist can't find anything wrong with me. I can't function well enough to keep up with my classes anymore, and I'm scared. I was hoping someone might have any ideas about what could be making me sick?
Thanks,
JOy

Have you thought that it might be something like lupus?
A lot of these chronic fatigue type illnesses are very similar in their symptoms and it is often difficult for doctors to diagnose. You might have something like this but it could also be diet related.

I'm begining to think it is an autoimmune diesease of some type. My hematologist has carefully checked my iron and b12. He even gave me a copy of my last cbc. Everything was normal. My GI doctor has checked me for celiac diesease, chron's desease, and something else similar. My family practice doctor checked my thyroid before he found my iron-defiency last fall, but I will get that re-checked. I was sick alot last fall with the anemia and I was really weak. Could that have triggered something else?
