Hi I have been away for a while concentrating on voluntary work.
I have had problems lately with bad chest and stomach pains, I was tested for angina and that was cleared.
The pains were upper abdomen and radiated into my central chest, down both arms across my shoulder cap under my chin. Woke me in the night, kept me awake, stopped me from working and put paid to the voluntary work, even taking the dogs to the park, would bring it on.
The dr has upped my Lanzoprozol to 2 a day I take paracetamol, and eat gaviscon ad lib.
This has been on-going for 3 weeks and worse but 6 months from the initial pains.which is why I stopped swimming my 42 lengths! 🙁
Today I went for a scan, The results were, Liver good.. NO gallstones, gallbladder good condition.... Pancreas... good, Kidneys good, no blockages to see.Yaa happy to be healthy ..but what in gods name is it then? any suggestions welcome, I do have a dr appointment next week. Thanks.x
It is good that nasties and meanies have been ruled out , which is comforting to know.
I suspect wind.
According to Ayurveda, 80% of disease are rooted in wind.
Vayu mudra
Do it for a few weeks. You will see results with in week ten days or even sooner..
All the best
My Dad suffered from very similar symptoms during his 50's - his GP told him he was working too hard (in the days before 'stress') and that he should lose some weight. He gave up bread, cakes, biccies and tatties (never ate pasta or rice), and cut out sugar. My mother was mortified, as she was a prolific cake maker! He lost a load of weight over 6 months, and after just a couple of weeks, realised the chest pains had stopped. He stopped popping indigestion tablets, and drinking bottles of gripe water (popular with colicky babies!)!!! Whenever he ate 'normally' within hours he was burping and making excuses to leave the room to go out side - he went out to do some deep breathing, as the pain came back into his chest and arm with a vengeance. He was never diagnosed, but for years I thought he may have probs with gluten.
Why not check out your symptoms with a nutritionist?
Thank you for the tips I will give all a go as it is interfering with my life. That drags me down but I will get to the root of itxxxx
