My son is 14 years old and has always been very small from birth, he has now dropped of the weight and height chart and the paediatrician wants to start him of on Testosterone injections as he hasn't started puberty yet and they are hoping that by doing this he will start to grow. He said he defiantly wants to have the injections but i would just like some more information on it or to hear from anyone who knows someone who has had this treatment. My son being so small has a huge impact on his life especially as his eight year old brother is now the same height and shoe size as him.
hi jackie, i think the most famous footballer on the planet lionel messi had those injections as a youngster. i think he was 13 when he started them and hes on record as saying that it absolutley changed his life and made him what he is today. i have no doubt your son would benefit from it. you should look up messi's story its interesting.

Thanks ill look it up now, hes had 3 injections so far and still not started puberty yet though, but he has got a little taller X
