I was quite surprised really that nobody had replied to this until now ... not disappointed, just surprised ... because I'd have thought members might have posted about their own children and the various therapies and complementary medicines they might have used.
Still, it's not too late for some such contributions if others feel inclined. I don't have anything further to offer, as I have no children, but have certainly given herbal preparations to my dogs to good effect, and take herbal medicine myself.
