Hi All
I wondered if anyone could please offer me any advice, I have a 11 yr old son who is a very sensitive boy, this year has been tough on him as sadly his dad and myself got divorced and now he has the challenge of secondary school.
He has seen a counsellor but now he has a Twitch which has gradually got worse and his whole body is shaking which as you can iamagine it distressing my son and us as a family, we are due to see doctor tomorrow but just thought I would see if anyone has experienced this and any advice welcomed.
Thank you
Clareangel
Hi Clareyangel
This is distressing to him as well as his family. My suggestion is to find someone who will help him with EFT. You don't say where you are based, so you'll need to find a practitioner from very helpful.
It is such a sensitive age for a child and it is essential to get it sorted asap.
I would also give him some quality multivitamin/mineral supplement such as this one, (not supermarket/chemist rubbish!) and some high EPA fish oil, see here. B vitamins and omega oils are essential for brain and nerve health, and if he has been under stress then these will be very depleted. Try to keep him off sugars, processed foods and fizzy drinks which will do him no good at all and use fruit and nuts as treats, and homecooked meals with lots of veg if possible - hide the veg in soups if necessary. Home made smoothies and plain bio-yoghurts will help too, good at breakfast (avoid bought cereals!).
I suspect your Dr will want to put him on drugs - see here. You have to make that choice for him, but it is not a route I'd take yet.
My very best wishes to you both.

Thank you for everyone advice , he saw doctor and he is going refer him to the paedeatrics doctors .
The twitches could well be signs of internal stress and fluctuating emotions.
Worth looking at the Indigo Essences, they were made by an Irish lady and her nephew/niece, who are children, and they are for children. They would help to settle his emotions and provide much needed emotional support.
Hi Clareyangel
In China, childhood twitches are treated reasonably successfully with acupuncture.
On another tack, I've a friend with Tourettes who spent his entire childhood being dragged from one specialist to another, all to no avail. The stress caused by this process only ever added to the problem, and he believes now that he would have fared better had he been left alone. Best go gently.
