I believe it not to be dangerous to her health and we've been told she'll grow out of it: but are there any remedies which would help? (prevent scarring for instance).

RE: my granddaughter has moluscum contagiosum

My son has this, and has had it for about 8 months. We have been told that it lasts anywhere up to 2 years. I have started to use aloe vera on his. Take a leaf and cut a piece of about 6 inches, cut it length ways and rub it onto the spots. I have also been using tea-tree oil.

Hope this helps. You are right, its not damaging to the health, and I think it just looks alot worse than it is.

Good luck and best wishes

Lilac

RE: my granddaughter has moluscum contagiosum

hi my two youngest daughters have moluscums, one on her left side the other on her right, we waited a year and half (on the doctors advice) there was no sign of them going, so i started using aloe vera products there is a good cream that contains bee propolis which is a natural antibacterial, also we use the aloe drink, it's calmed down quite a lot,
i'll keep you all informed how it goes.

MC is a harmless infection, and the usual advice is to wait for natural immunity to develop and cause the infection to clear. This takes a different time for each individual, and if one can be patient, it will always go eventually - but as noted, can take years . It takes longer if there is an atopic background ( family or personal history of asthma, eczema, hay fever ). If they go naturally, there is no scarring - however if traumatised or infected, scars will occur.
Aloe vera is safe, but an even better strategy is to boost the immune response using herbal measures.

RE: my granddaughter has moluscum contagiosum

my son has had moluscum too. He suffered with about 60 over his body, one arm and face. I tried various things as it was spreading rapidly. What proves to be working for us is bush flower remedies. We looked at his overall health and treated other problems as well as the skin problem,we used a mixture of about 7 remedies including 'Billy goat plum' for his skin. He had moluscum for 5 months and within 2 weeks of taking the remedies they started to go, 4 weeks later and there are only two small ones left and they look like they are going. 🙂

My son also had molluscum contagiosum, we eventually got fed up waiting for it to clear itself and he had started scratching at it so I mixed up a blend of lemon essential oil lavender and ti tree in grapeseed oil, this did the trick although there are tiny little scars where some of the molloscum where im not sure if these were the ones that had perhaps got infected, anyway the molluscum has cleared, I hope this helps, good luck, Karin x

Ahshe's well over them now thank you - I don't know whether it's an age thing or my sister's homoeopathic remedy that did it.

My daughter had it and I gave her the homeopathic remedy Thuja which I'm sure made it heal more quickly.

Yeast Problem????

Had you a vaginal yeast infections? I had it but I am well now. There is no medical treatment
but some natural way and some special care. It is a great ugly and nasty disease it started
from a teen age and never well if you had a proper guide line. It comes back few month later.
Most of Natural Remedies you bought from Internet are useless for you. While some products seemed to help for a short period of time, nothing could kill the yeast Candida completely and the symptoms always returned. In fact most of them made my symptoms worse than before.
Don't worry you will find proper solution just visit

I think you will find here some very helpful information there. Best of luck to you.
