Can a baby be immunized is running a fever? What happens if not immunized on the specified day but get the jab a week or two weeks later?

Check with your doctor or nurse before you go to the immunisation clinic. Delaying the immunisation by a couple of weeks won't hurt. The immunisation can give the baby a slight fever , so they may well decide to delay if the baby is unwell.

But check with the clinic if you have any concerns

In view if the vast amount of discussion about the possibility of immunisation being linked to autism, I really do not advise any baby being immunised while running a fever or with a cold or anything else that may be going on, unless there is serious risk of catching one of the diseases that s/he is being immunised against.

Coping with an autistic child can be a lifelong commitment - it is not worth the risk, however small.
