Hi. 2 years ago, one of my close ones was down with stomach cancer. Fortunately, it was at the early stage and after an operation, she recovered from it. She had been going for checkups and was still on medication.

I would like to know if there is any ways (personal opinion or/and based on studies/research) to prevent the stomach cancer from recurring again? I have heard of cancer recurring in others even after a few years of recovery and eventually it took away their lifes.
Also, what are the symptons of stomach cancer? Is there any way to prevent it?

Thanks.

Just to add my little bit. My husband had prostrate cancer for 11 years. He had countless scans, checks etc throughout all that time.
Then 6 weeks before his sudden death, they found stomach cancer!
I was appalled that through all the checks he had for the prostrate cancer, the stomach cancer was never found.

Both my son and myself have had cancer and the one thing this has all taught me is that cancer is such a sneak.

What I mean is that I know of many people who had really good prognosis and were dead within months and I know of people with really bad prognosis and are still alive today.

I also know of people who were told it had spread and kept going for years afterwards with substantial chemo and others who had the same diagnosis and treatment and didnt last any time at all.

And the doctors......well in my opinion, oncology just is the art of having "weapons" i.e surgery, chemo and radiotherapy and hitting it with what they think may do the best job. It's a case of "hit and hope".

One thing I am sure of tho is...if the bugger wants to come back then it will and no amount of any therapy will stop it. I know of women who after five years thought they were safe only for to be told they had extensive secondaries to lungs, bone and liver at 6+ years.

I know of vegan non drinkers who were very fit and healthy who were diagnosed and died quickly and hard drinkers/smokers/grossly obese who are still alive.

It is an unknown quantity and all you can do is live as well as you can and hope it doesn't come back, but I truly believe that it will ultimately do what it wants and we have little means to control it when it does.

As for the signs and symptoms of stomach cancer you will find them on CRUK or cancerbacup website.

Might be worth reading Louise Hay's 'You Can Heal Your Life' - she healed herself from vaginal cancer using, very basically, positive affirmations 🙂

Whilst it cannot be said that a positive outlook and using affirmations will not have some bearing on physical health (thats what psychoneuroimmunology is about after all) I know of some wonderful, positive, hard fighting women who still succumbed to cancer.

Does it mean then that if you die you weren't doing enough positive affirmations then?

I think you should talk to a doctor and find more information on your question.

i certainly wasn't suggesting that if you die you're not being positive enough, merely giving a suggestion of something to look into.

Removing visible part of disease is not really the actual and complete treatment relatively your fear about again development of disease is quite obvious and expected.

So it needs to uproot the real cause of disease i.e, chemical and/or mechanical disorder of blood and organ (stomach in your described situation) to get rid of that fear.

Regarding how to treat real causes of disease, requires a deep detailed discussion.

Here, for some immediate tips I can suggest following things with quite assurance.

All foods having excessive quantity of vitamin C (like tomato, Acerola, Baobab, Lemon juice, etc) are bad for the patient, all sour and bitter foods like orange, union, bitter guard, lemon etc.. are dangerous for his/her health.

following diets can help best in preventing stomach cancer development in future.

Sweet Mango, sweet grapes, papaya, Honey, Butter oil, turnip, pumpkin, milk of goat, lady's finger.

Note: All above suggestions are posted assuming that patient is not suffering with diabetes (as this is in some cases) and his/her blood pressure is high (probably should be in his/her case)

Good Luck!

you might read read Bernie Siegel's book 'Prescription for living'. He is an american cancer specialist who realised that what goes on in aperson's mind can affect the outcome of illness.
There are no incurable illnesses just incurable people', is one of his sayings and he has proven it over the years. Cancer is more a state of mind reflected in the body, cure the mind cure the body.

We know that ovarian cysts(cancer) can be caused due to genetic factors, or due to certain dietary habits. Other than this, ovarian cysts can also be caused due to a weakened immune system, toxins that might have collected in the digestive tract or even due to obesity or insulin resistance.

There is a cure for cancer that has been hidden for over 7 years by a large pharmacy company. It's a natural growing product that this company tried to copy in the lab...since it couldn't be copied...they were unable to patent a natural growing item...so they sealed the files and told no one. It did come out later when one of the researchers let out their secret. This herb only attacks cancer cells and does nothing to normal cells.
