Hi, we found out my dad has lung cancer that has spread to his liver and adrenals on saturday. It all happened quite suddenly and that day we had been called by the hospital to come up and say goodbye.
As it turned out the immediate issue was fluid preventing the heart from pumping, a drain was put in and that helped in the short term.
We have got him some B-17 to start taking and some probiotic tablets too though he is on antibiotics so i don't know if that negates their benefit. We are not telling his doctors about the B-17 as it seems controversial and really it's a situation where they are saying he's dying anyway so it can't exactly make things worse.
Apparently he can soon be treated as an out patient so we will be in more control of his diet. The plan so far is to get him on the alkaline diet, ideally i'd pump him full of wheatgrass juice but i don't know how possible that is to grow etc. As i understand it the juice should be consumed within half an hour of being made. So buying premade stuff seems not that helpfull.
I've been looking at pau d'arco as well, i've had it myself but i'm wondering if the tincture is any good as it would be hard to get him to drink the decoction.
We are trying to keep him positive and i've whispered to him "in secret" that we found this remedy that always works but said there is a big conspiracy by the pharma companies to stop people knowing about it, otherwise they will loose too much money.
I've mainly said this to him to try and bring out his fighting spirit and try and get the placebo effect on board and help make him not feel too scared, or, try to help him deal with the fear.
I'd be so gratefull for any other advice, we are not rich but will do our best to get him what he needs to get better.
Thankyou for reading this far xx
I wish you luck. I hope you all get to enjoy the remaining time you have with your father, however long that may be. Fill it full of laughter and good memories as laughter is a wonderful aid to healing.

I'm afraid that I don't know anything about the treatment of cancer, which is a shame because I wish that I could help. My only suggestion would be to email Bobby's Healthy Shop - which is an outlet for all the things that that family used to cure/suppress/treat their son's cancer. All the money they make goes straight back into the charity, which supplies the products they sell to children with the same cancer. So they are ethical and aren't making money out of illness, but instead are trying to promote wellness and effective treatment. There are a few left-of-centre treatments which they offer - hence contacting them and seeing what they might suggest you do as a priority. I imagine that there's going to be dozens of suggestions offered to you. Hard to know which things to try.

In the US doctors often prescribe the herb Milk Thistle for liver problems. This herb has been scientifically proven to aid in liver regeneration, except in the case of severe scarring from cirrhosis. I knew an elderly man who had part of his liver removed due to cancer. Milk Thistle was prescribed as part of the treatment by his doctor. (Milk Thistle is available over the counter.) It was his second bout with cancer (first was stomach cancer). I'm not sure what ultimately caused his death at age 70, but he lived and performed his work (university professor and field biologist) for three years after the liver cancer diagnosis and treatment.
I have no experience of this idea, but it certainly one worth trying. It may not be easy but if you have the will to recover then I do believe it is possible.
I would say that to make the most of any hope of turning this around needs professional and experienced guidance. There are pitfalls to sudden detoxing from these advance toxic states, and they are not always obvious; yet the difference between success and failure may be small, and with the right input it may be possible to navigate this safely to a better outcome.
Without knowing any more of the context to this situation and the circumstance leading up to it, it's not possible to say what could be achieved, and how.
Unfortunately, because of the laws on treating cancer, you won't find many in this field openly advertising these services specifically for cancer, but keep asking around.
I know you have read my posts on this subject. Nothing I've been taking for the past 70 months is very costly at all. My best friend paid $40,000 (US) for a 'cancer cure' in Texas and died May 7th of this year. It is now and will forever be about the money. People with cancer generally have acidic blood. Cancer does not live in an alkaline environment. You don't happen to know if this is the case with your Father, do you?. I will check often for PM'S from you.

Just having a look at this myself, as I'm currently waiting for results as to whether the cancer I had has come back or not.
Apparently the author to read is Max Gerson. So going to look up his work to see what he suggests.
Sorry to hear of this, What sprung to mind for me, is there is a remedy that has been claimed to have cured many things, which was created from the water of a well in Mexico, which became famous because it healed many people. It's called Tlacote Water. Some homeopathic pharmacies stock it and I have met people who have sworn by it.
I noticed someone mention Gerson. A good friend of mine died of cancer last year religiously following the Gerson diet. However, I have heard that it can do amazing things. My advice would be that to cure cancer, you need to cure mind, body and spirit, and not just look at body.
John of God in Brazil is amazing and I have seen many miracles performed there.
Also, did you happen to notice the other link I put up 'cancer, the forbidden cures' there's a film and somebody has put a link to the product 'essiac' which is mentioned in the film.
Thankyou for the replies....i'm sorry i've neglected this thread for so long.
He is out of hospital now and being cared for by my sister. The alkaline diet isn't seeming to happen strictly though she is filling his diet with veg especially broccoli. Unfortunately it has been hard to get hom on board with eating. He is diabetic too and has not paid any attention to his diet since being diagnosed in 2001. Now he is with my sister the focus has been on getting his blood glucose under control and now he is staying within the range of 4-7 for most of his readings. A vast improvement to his in hospital readings often staying in the 20's!
We have him on the b-17 and pau d'arco as well as gotu kola, soya lecithin, probiotics and the others escape my memory at the moment. He had 3 strokes while in hospital in total, hence the gotu kola etc. We will be seeing his oncologist tomorrow but if they offer him chemo i'm concerned how badly that will effect him.
I've actually been sickened by the treatment he had in hospital, that the nurses and doctors kept his blood glucose levels so high, fed him awful food with sugar filled deserts, refined carbs like instant mash and then tried to criticise us for bringing him in foods like bean salads etc.
The nurses coming to my sisters house told her not to inject him with fast acting insulin at all for a while and then no more than 4 units and only if his blood glucose readings were over 16, they tried arguing that a BM of 15 was fine....i've been a type 1 diabetic for 20 years and my sister's husband even longer so luckily we know better and ignored them.
He's feeling alot better now despite the strokes so we'll just have to see what time brings.
Thanks again for all the advice and helpfull comments xxx
It's vital for any kind of recovery from serious disease to get vitamin D levels normalised. Good immune function depends on it. Meanwhile, if the treatment hasn't been satisfactory, why not send him off to Gerson in Germany, Mexico or Thailand for a proper programme, run by experts. Otherwise there's the Hippocrates Institute. I'm not sure about the Penny Brohn Centre in Bristol, anybody know? It used to be the place to go, it might be just the ticket.
I'm afraid that a bit of dabbling or trial and error is not sufficient with cancer - it takes a concerted programme, and small things can make a big difference. You can't afford to be reinventing the wheel or having half-hearted approaches if you're serious about beating this.
I couldn't agree more with kvdp regarding Vitamin D3 levels. I probably put this in a previous post but I'll repeat what my doctor said with regard to my Vit D3 levels. He told me that my levels (69 ng/dl) were the highest he had ever seen. He was speechless when I told him that they have been as high as 89 ng/dl. He asked me if I was out in the sun constantly. Well, we do get quite a bit of sun in SW Florida. Vitamin D3 deficiency is a very serious health problem for all, yet, largely ignored.

We have him on vitamin D3 now, thanks for the reminder 🙂
Sending him abroad to a clinic isn't an option i'm affraid, even if we all chipped in we just couldn't afford to do that.
The treatment i was complaining about was for his diabetes in hospital....now he is out and cared for at home that is resolved and his blood glucose levels are kept within range fairly much perfectly.
Hi Chloe
Food supplied in most hospitals is mostly highly unsuitable - low in nutrient levels, high in calories and highly processed. When my mother was there she was disgusted with it and we had to bring food in for her. No wonder his BSLs warer struggling!
Have you thought of trying the anticancer method indicated in my post no 5 here? I personally would definitely give it a go as it won't cost much and may just make a difference. Habaneros peppers are available .

Hi Caroline
Thanks for your reply. I did look at that link before and it actually makes sense to me. Unfortunately he has found his tastes have changed dramatically. Before he could eat raw chillis and loved them, even one time i cooked him a phaal curry (the stupidly hot kind) and he loved it but now anything vaguely spicy he can't tolerate at all.
It's a real shame, i did for a while have him sprinkling cayenne pepper on all his food and it helped with the circulation to his feet, reduced his numbness and even his sciatica got less painfull.
I just mailed my sister the link you provided for a list of alkaline and acid foods in the thread on the flu jab. My dad seems keen to try it but i'm not sure he quite understands how restrictive he will find it.
You are right about the hospital food, i was beyond shocked by it and can't imagine someone in a state of poor health could manage to recover eating that rubbish....to be honest, i imagine a healthy person eating just that would become quite ill so a person with compromised health must stand no chance!
I got the Dr Robert Young book, "The pH miracle" delivered, it does take some wading through though but even if my dad decides not to do it i think it would be wise for me to transition to it anyway.
Thanks again for your reply and suggestions xxx

I just reread that article and noticed ginger can be used instead....i'll have to ask my sister if he can tolerate that....fingers crossed.

Read up on the work of Dr Hagiwara and Barleygrass juice powder - there's plenty on the internet - and this is one thing I would happily recommend for you to use on him. It will help with the Ph level as well as give him the nutrients to sustain him and give him good health.

Thankyou to everyone who has posted here. He died on monday night so there is nothing i can do now obviously.
Hopefully the advice given here might help someone else going through it now.
Thanks again xxx
