I just want to bring to people's attention an amazing book called 'Anticancer - A New Way Of Life' by Dr David Servan-Schreiber. The author is a research and clinical scientist who survived cancer. He studied current research into natural methods that have been found to fight cancer and found many studies that have demonstrated the effectiveness of diet, emotional well-being and the power of the mind-body link. This book is well written and engaging with a great deal of useful information and protocols to help fight and prevent cancer.

ANY research into natural methods gets my vote!!! Then again, if I ever feel inclined to introduce carcinogenic substances into my body, I'll find an oncologist.

I would suggest that fighting anything is perhaps not the best strategy. By fighting, you only attract fighting in return. Just a thought.

The book I referred to talks about the way the body's immune system can kill the cancer cells and details natural ways to enhance the immune system and limit the cancer cells ability to prevent the body killing the cancer cells. In general when a foreign body or bodies attack an individual, the individual's immune system has a natural process to destroy the invader in order to maintain health. Cancer cells have mechanisms to prevent the immune system from attacking and destroying them, this book details these mechanisms and gives natural ways to overcome them. I am not too sure what you mean in the context of cancer 'By fighting, you only attract fighting in return'.

Thanks for this. I'll take a look for it the next time I'm out book shopping.
