Hi,
just read galadriels post about having back problems and buying a new matress. i'm in a similar position but i am *so* flummoxed by the choice out there, i just don't know where to start. my budget is £200 max, so i want to really shop around to make sure i can get absolutely the best i can afford as this is a bit of an investment for me, financially i'm not good, and my back isn't good either!!!
i saw a local firm selling a 1000 spring firm mattress for £399, reduced to £199...this seemed good to me, but when i froogled it, the same item was for sale by an online firm for £299 reduced to £141. it makes me wonder who is telling the truth, how much is it actually worth, and what on earth does the number of springs mean, when i looked it to it there were even 'springier' ones than that!!! any advice would be welcome!
RE: where/how can i choose a new bed?
Hello Kookykel& Galadriels,
I very much understand your situation and I would suggest to buy a 6" to 8" foam Mattress as it is the best type of Mattress on the market which is extremely good for your back. This type of Mattress has to be the type which you site on and once your get up off it, it comes back to its shape. If you lay down on it, this foam mattress will take the shape of your body and you will have a very good night sleep.
Take my word for it as I have one which I had for over 29years and I have back problems too. My nights are the best I have ever been. I sleep from time to time in other beds at friends'and families' house and it is never the same. I always wish I would have my bed with me all the time.
Good Luck
Joe
