Also on spirituality.com, I found this beautiful healing of a foster child:

DSS had placed Baby Eddie in protective custody at birth, because of his biological mother’s substance abuse. Eddie came to us with a list of diagnosed and anticipated problems, most attributed to his “pos tox” (positive toxicology) classification at birth. It was assumed that he would be stiff, reject close physical contact, experience extensive withdrawal symptoms associated with exposure to drugs in utero, and have learning disabilities. The doctors also predicted he would have asthma, or other breathing difficulties. His weight was low, and his head very small. I was told, “He’s so adorable, too bad his eyes are crossed.” To top it all, he was an incredibly active child, and we were bombarded from day one with opinions about how to treat hyperactivity…..Eddie had developmental evaluations at regular intervals. At 18 months, he was considered sufficiently behind to receive services through the San Diego Regional Center for the Developmentally Disabled, meaning that he was placed in a special preschool. When he reached 26 months, the Development Evaluation Report diagnosed a “possible emergence of an attention deficit/hyperactive disorder” (ADHD).
All these conditions were overturned through prayer. Edit to add that I was listening to the chat while writing this and Mrs Hyatt mentioned that there is a second article, so voila!
