My girlfriend had a blood test aprox. 1yr ago. After the blood test a rash appeared. This rash occurs again and again around the area where the needle was inserted. When she went back to her GP he said to apply cream to it and will go away. Which one year later it hasnt. I dont trust him and the clinic she goes to as they has mis diagonised other problems with her before. So what could it be?

RE: Reocurring rash after blood test
has she been tested for mrsa? one of symptoms is recurring rashes, altho since it was a year ago wld have expected more symptoms. sounds like a localised infection. if so, diluted tea tree oil wld probably clear it, or propolis cream. always worth asking for a referral to a dermatologist if your not in a hurry!
