Logging in issues

Hi All,

I recently started using a new PC, however I couldn't remember my password so sent a new password request. Unfortunately I requested against an incorrect email account where a duplicate account had been created for a previous issue.

Anyway when I signed in I got a message that my ID had been blocked, which is when I realised my mistake. My problem now is that I can't sign out of that account on my new PC to sign in on the correct account. So I'm stuck between two machines.

Are you able to provide any advice on how I get out of the incorrect account to allow me to log in with the correct one?

Hi Rachel,

If I recall correctly, when your account becomes blocked from too many log in attempts or whatever, it's for a period of time e.g. 30 minutes and then you get another chance to try and log in again.

If you are logged in on your other account, can you not just hit "Logout" in the top right corner of the site?

Not sure if admin are thin on the ground at the minute (holidays? illness? not sure) but I'll send them a message to come and read this and help.

It appears that the "logout" button doesn't work, so I seem to be stuck. I've searched my PC to see if I can somehow delete where its being remembered but currently I'm a bit stuck.

You may have to clear your browser cookies then, though bear in mind that can clear ALL your cookies, which includes log in information etc. that is remembered for other sites too.

Tried deleting all the browser cookies... Still the same issue. Wonder if Admin could boot me out as I am really stuck.

Weirdly a power cut managed to log me out of the incorrect account and allowed me to log in with my correct account... so I'm back and very happy to be here again.
