Hi there..
Welcome. Reiki was my first and still favourite therapy. How long have you been at level 2?

Hi... I have been at level 2 since January... I only practice Reiki on frie nonds, family and myself.. I must admit, it has become a way of life now and I'm really excited about continuing my Reiki/Spiritual journey with level 3 in December.

I'd be interested in how that works. When you've settled in, of course. welcome.

I can't answer for the OP - but my reiki level 1 attunement opened up all sorts of things in me that I never knew were there much beyond the fact that I could now give reiki. Partly it's the disciplines of regular self healing, and focus on the 5 principles. Those I believe are standard across all reiki training. At least I hope they are. Reiki training varies a lot in terms of how and what is taught, and the advancement through the levels. I actually FAILED my first attempt at level 3. She was happy to accredit me as master healer...but I needed more work before she felt I was ready to teach and attune others.
Though the truth is that you're ready to teach and attune others when YOU feel your are ready. Some people are naturally good at teaching others, some less so.

I wasn't my teaching style she doubted. It was my understanding of what I would be teaching! And she was right,,,,and very fair. Although she had to devote an extra session to me she didn't charge me extra...
But still, "way of life"? I understand how shamanism (of course) or any religion becomes a way of life. And I can see it for a few other things. But what does it actually mean, in terms of Reiki?
Hi people! I'm Jane from Canada! goot to be here)
Hello Ruby. Welcome to HealthyPages.
Hi there 🙂
Hello Rudy...do you consider Hands on Healing the same as Reiki? Not speaking of any religion.
Curiousness is my intent to heard what you believe?

You may not get an answer - RubyV hasn't been back since last October.
That is so so sad...awwww. What do you think Crowan?

About RubyV? - Many people come onto Healthy Pages, post energetically for a couple of weeks and then stop.
About 'hands on' and 'Reiki'? - I'm inclined to think so, but I don't practice either, so you might get a better answer from someone who does.
I was attuned to Reiki 1 by a friend who was very keen for me to understand how wonderful it was. But I couldn't do anything with it that I couldn't do better with shamanism, so I didn't ever do much with it.
I obviously am stilling learning how to post and read the forum...lol lol . Sure someone will give me an idea. How are your herbs and plants doing..

Most are doing fine - the bergamot seedlings and poppy seedlings were eaten by slugs over the weekend. We were away, teaching in Yorkshire and got back late last night, so I discovered them this morning.

Bunnies eat my tomatoes...
Our friends in the next village have had to spend pounds and hours rabbit-proofing their garden. Thankfully, we have none. Badgers dig plants up occasionally and sometimes a horse or sheep get in. Even the slugs don't do much damage.
By the way, I've started a thread in the Gardening section of HP. I thought it would be good to chat there about what we're growing and more people might join in there.
